Fernanda Villagra Fernanda is our host and housekeeper. She’s born in Rio Gallegos and studies Engineering in Natural Resources, and has certainly became a key member of Buitreras family. She’ll always be there to welcome you with a big friendly smile.
SIDNE HALVORSEN Sidne returns to the Buitreras staff, assisting Fernanda in the lodge duties. Also a tourism graduate, she’ll take care of all the details to assure the best of your staying.

JUAN MANUEL BIOTT With four seasons guiding the Buitreras stretch of the Rio Gallegos, this 25 year old hotel management graduate will not only lead you to “the fish of a lifetime” but also impress you with voice as he’s also a talented singer and guitar player. He's been fishing this river since childhood and has developed quickly into a fully skilled guide.
Diego H. Peralta Not only an excellent guide, who used to poach this water many years before this operation was running, and therefore knows the river very well, but also a dedicated photographer and keen rugby player from the local team. He’s been guiding for us at Buitreras since day 1.
DIEGO “POLLO” COSCIA A.k.a "The Jurassic Man". Probably one of the best flycasters in South America, with both single and double-handed rods, he’s well known for his capability at finding fish… A cheerful man with a big smile on his face that will not only guide you but share all his knowledge with you at both Buitreras and Jurassic Lake.
HERNAN GARCIA The Buitreras guides family's latest addition. With only 23 years old this hotel management graduate, professional guide and fly tier will lead you along the best pools of the Gallegos counting with the experience, the know-how and the instinct for chasing sea run trout.

Buitreras Camp Manager and fly fishing guide in his home river, the Gallegos, where he has worked for the last 12 years. A man of details, precision and approximately ½ a million flies, ready to assist on everything that concerns your staying, tackle and to give advice on how the get the best out of your trip.

DIEGO MARTINEZ The man in charge of making you try some of Argentina’s finest dishes as well as some of the best from the international cuisine. He’ll amuse you with his light evening thematic dinners and charming personality.
IGNACIO ECHAVARRI Diego’s kitchen assistant and a specialist in Argentina’s beef and famous Asados (BBQ). He’ll show you what Argentine beef tradition is all about.
